This film was directed and edited by Heather Hummel & Alaina Rich, with assistance from Arielle Carroll, for the Theater 5341: Studies in Documentary course at The Ohio State University. The film explores the art of Marcus Morris, a multidisciplinary artist and imagemaker and lecturer at The Ohio State University. It highlights an installation titled “Marian Anderson: Contralto Immortal” that Marcus created for The Gund, an art museum at Kenyon College. Located in the historic Knox Memorial Theater, his installation used a "ghost performance" to recall a performance Marian Anderson delivered at that same theater in May of 1939.
